September 23, 2010  Joomdle R0.3 Released

 

We are pleased to announce the release of Joomdle R0.3 and it is ready for download.  This release add many new features to the core Joomdle functionality and significantly improves the level of 3rd party integration.

New features include:

• Profile data mapping, that lets you map profile fields between Moodle and your prefered Joomla extension
• Integration with Moodle's Paypal (in case you do not wish to use VM or Tienda)
• New features to protect children by adding support for parents including purchasing, a parents module, and auto-enrollment 
• Improvements in the Joomdle calendar module
• The ability to configure Joomdle to show Moodle with the Wrapper set to auto-height
• New languages: German and Italian
• New module to show user grades
• More 3rd party integration:
  • Community Builder
  • Jomsocial Profile Types
  • Improved Jomsocial integration: activities and groups

 We also fixed  a number of bugs, many of which were reported by the community, so thanks for your help in making Joomdle a better product.

We would like to give special thanks to Ernst Wieghorst and Antonio Mercurio for writting the German and Italian translations respectively, for both Joomdle and the Joomdle documentation wiki.
