TOPIC: [Closed] Doubt

[Closed] Doubt 1 year 3 weeks ago #1

Hello,

First of all I want to congratulate you all for such a good work with joomdle. I was looking for a way to integrate a CMS with Moodle and I found what I have been looking for.

I am using the latest stable moodle version (2.2.2) with the latest joomla version (2.5). I followed all the steps in order to set up the joomdle connector but it does not work at all. I configured everything and I when checking the "system health" I get an error in the Web Services section (empty response by moodle). I wonder if this issue is because of the version of joomla I am using. If so I think I will change back to 1.7.

Anyway, have you guys already tested the R0.8 version? I see the demo works with it so maybe you could send it to me to help in the testing.

Offtopic: I love how the demo looks like and work. I am also going to use it with hikashop as you did but, may I have those modified templates you used? I read you made few modifications to make it look better in the wrap.

Thank you very much,
Víctor.

I add:

I have been changing some parameters like removing "www." from the moodle URL and that kind of stuff. Now from the check system health I get also and error but this time "La función solicitada no está disponible" (the required function is not available". Furthermore, If i want to see moodle users from joomla I get this error: XML-RPC Error (620): Method "joomdle_check_moodle_users" does not exist.

Do you have any idea of this?

Thank you very much,
Víctor.

For now I have solved the problem. The problem was that I had to add more functions to the service joomdle in the moodle platform. I would swear thos functions were'nt selectionable before. But now it seems to work.

I have to configure the CMS now. Thank you very much!
If it is possible, I am still interested in those templates.

Victor.

Glad to hear you got it working.

As for the template, this was my comment on another post
