  • Jason E replied to the topic Re: iPhone safari login in the forum.
I figured out that my problem was that I had changed my url to https: instead of http: but didn't change the url in moodle.
    Now SSO is working fine.

    Thanks anyway.

  • Jason E replied to the topic Re: iPhone safari login in the forum.
Actually, I think I may have missed something in my setup. I thought this was working on a regular pc browser, but I may have been already logged in and confused myself.

  • Jason E created a new topic iPhone safari login in the forum.
Sorry, this is probably more of an iPhone safari issue, but I thought I'd see if anyone here has seen it before.

I have set up Joomdle with a menu item for "My Courses" When using a regular pc browser, this works fine opening the course in a new tab. When using iPhone Safari, it opens in a new window, but doesn't pass the login cookie or something so the user is asked to log in again. I have tried changing the cookie settings in the iphone.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Jason E created a new topic Documentation site down in the forum.
Sorry, I didn't see a forum section on support for your website.
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Main_Page is down at this time.

    Thanks

  • Jason E created a new topic Community Builder Plugin, Where is it? in the forum.
In the documentation on page www.joomdle.com/wiki/Community_Builder
    It says to ...

Install the Joomdle plugin for Community Builder, plug_joomdlehookscommunitybuilder

There is no link and I can't seem to find where to get this plugin.

    Likewise below that it says

Joomdle includes a CB profile plugin to list user courses.

To use it, you will need to install and enable the plug_joomdle_cbmycourses plugin using Community Builder pluin installer.

But doesn't say where to find that either. They are not on www.joomdle.com/en/download/joomdle or www.joomdle.com/en/download/other-software

Searching Community builder forums for joomdle comes up nil.

    Please advise.

I don't understand what you mean. With the menu item, the page shows up as I want, but how to get rid of the error message?

I'm not really a programmer and wouldn't know how to begin to modify the code.

  • Jason E replied to the topic Re:another page in wrapper in the forums.
I found that in joomla I can create a menu item
type joomdle - wrapper - Moodle wrapper.
I enter the path under Moodle URL in Paramaters (Component)
This will open my item in the wrapper.

however, I get an error at the top of the page.
Warning: file_get_contents(moodle/certificates/index.php/mnet/xmlrpc/server.php) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: Not a directory in wwwroot/administrator/components/com_joomdle/helpers/content.php on line 88

  • Jason E created a new topic another page in wrapper in the forums.
I have installed the moodle certificate module and it's associated site-wide reports module.
The first creates certificates of completion and the second creates a moodle page for students to view their certificates.
The link to open for that is /moodle/certificates/index.php
I can create a menu link to open this page, but it doesn't open in the wrapper.
How can I make it open in the same wrapper that joomdle opens in?

    Thanks.

  • Jason E replied to the topic Re:wrapper default page in the forums.
In the Sh404SEF control panel, configuration tab - sh404SEF Configuration - By component tab
set both joomdle and wrapper to skip, do not translate, do not insert code.
I didn't experiment to see if other configurations would work or not, but this works and doesn't otherwise conflict with Sh404SEF.

Nevermind, sorry. I figured out this was a conflict with another plugin. sh404SEF

  • Jason E created a new topic wrapper default page in the forums.
When I open a course in the wrapper, it opens the wrapper in my joomla index page. I would like it to open in a cleaner page. How do I assign what page the wrapper opens in?

    Thanks

  • Jason E replied to the topic Re:not getting link or enrollment after purchase in the forums.
    Resolved

Eliminated final slash on the configuration of moodle url on Joomdle setup.
Set Joomdle parameter "Auto create Moodle users" to yes.
Set Joomdle courses module parameter "Link to" to Course description.

I completely wiped all folders and databases and started over with a fresh install of joomla and moodle, followed the instructions for joomdle install. Did Not install VM yet. But having the same problem. user info is not passing to the moodle db.
