Uninstalling from Joomla

Joomla 1.5

To uninstall Joomdle from Joomla, just uninstall the Joomdle component with the Joomla Extension Manager. It will automatically remove all modules and plugins also.

Joomla 1.6

Removing Joomdle database tables

If you wish to completely uninstall Joomdle and have no desire to install a new version of Joomdle you may wish to consider removing the Joomdle tables from your Joomla database. There are three Joomdle tables that should be removed:

  • [jos]_joomdle_field_mappings
  • [jos]_joomdle_profiletypes
  • [jos]_joomdle_purchased_courses

You will need to replace [jos] with your Joomla! 3 digit prefix.

Uninstalling from Moodle

To uninstall Joomdle from Moodle, just remove the Joomdle directory from the moodle/auth folder, and visit Notifications page in Moodle.
