You can install the new version over existing one. Configuration parameters will be kept.
Upgrade from R0.9x to 1.0
In Joomdle 1.0, most 3rd party integrations have been moved to independent plugins, that you will need to install separately.
Some of them are available only to active subscribers, so please check your configuration and plan ahead before you upgrade. Contact us in the forums if you have any doubts.
Moodle
You can now update Joomdle on Moodle automatically without needed to manually upload a new package.
