[Solved] Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle was created by Marcos
Hi!
I managed to install and configure everything ok!
Weel. not so ok. When I run the system health check, in "joomdle web services" I get the message " Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle ".
I tried in moodle> Site administration> Plugins> Authentication> Manage authentication> joomdle settings
In the "joomla URL" field I tried:
* http-
/www.domainname.com (without the - off course, it is just to avoid BBCode to make a link)
* www.domainname.com
* domainname.com
But the error is still there.
Am I missing something?
Thxs.

How does Joomla resolve inside your browser? This is normally what you need to enter. Also, is this a local test server or real? Some people run into windows 7 problems when running locally. If it is a production server, there could be issues with internal vs external naming / dns resolutions.
Are you using Moodle 1.9 or 2.0?

Fixed!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Apparently, you had to set in joomla backend> components> joomdle> configuration> Moodle URL an URL http:// www .domainname.com/moodle and in
moodle> Site administration> Plugins> Authentication> Manage authentication> joomdle settings the same type http:// www. domainname.com
I had www. domainname.com/moodle in Joomla and http:// www. domainname.com in moodle. I made both with the http:// prefix and it works great!!
Hope this helps someone with the same problem.!!
I have a new issue now, but I am going to look in the forum and send a new post if I cant find it.!!
