Can´t make Joomdle work with Joomla

My Joomla: 3.0.3, Moodle: 2.4.3, Joomdle 0.92

Hello,

I get the following error message on the Joomdle plug-in System Check:

XMLRPC Ok
PHP Extension Ok
Joomdlehooks User Plugin enabled
cURL Enabled
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity Ok
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services Received empty response from Moodle

I have already reinstalled both Joomdle in Joomla and in Moodle.

Is it possible to have a IP restriction somewhere that I have to suppress?

Yes it is possible that your servers are not allowing connectivity. You need to solve the last one first and not worry about the http one at the moment. You will many posts related to empty response. It is normally either an incorrect url, or some form of server connection being disallowed such as dns, firewall, port, curl / file_get_contents, etc. These are the things to look out for.

I do not have the expertise to figure out problems with dns, firewall (it is disabled), port, curl / file_get_contents, etc. I have already searched all posts on empty response and have tried some of the remedies, but none has worked so far.

Do you have specifics of what I can do you may want to give to me?

It is really difficult to give you specifics without knowing what your problem is. You try enabling debug mode in Joomla to see if you get any error messages. You can also look in the server error log to see if any error messages are appearing there.

With both of the above, there maybe some clues and then the next steps determined.
