profile type integration enabled but no profile selected

Please help me

I encountered an error in the mappings tab of joomdle but I can see users added to my joomdle users and I sync them to joomla and moodle and joomdle

however this error keeps on bugging me does it have great relevance in our joomdle site?

Im using joomla/moodle 2.5 joomdle 09

I have red your discussion here in this thread and since im having problem just the same but in different way but I think its related the problem so I got confused. The one in this link is showing Moodle Role: Teacher

please if you can provide me with a detailed step by step guide of how to get around the problem with this one?

The answer is in the message. It says no profile types selected. Please configure the profile types first before you map the fields. You can find this information in the documentation

Update:
- On the above page do you only see teachers in the Moodle profiles? Why not print your screen so we can see what you are talking about.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the prompt reply, first of all i would like to apologize about the double posting. I was trying to get rid of the other post but was not able to.

by the way it seems that there is no profile type available on my joomdle(no parent and student) please refer to my attachments. I have also attached the joomdle configuration please tell me if i did something wrong. In mappings when I hit new

the addiditonal datasource is disabled but showing jomsocial inside
there is only Joomla field and Moodle field (not Moodle Role and Profile Type).

All joomdle system status is ok!

I hope you can help me resolve this issue. Thank you so much Chris!
Joomdle is very wonderful hope we could configure it correctly=)

You have configured Jomsocial as both a data source and for profile types. Have you created profiles and enabled them in jomsocial? Do you have jomsocial installed?

Do I have to choose community builder in datasource
and xipt in custom profile types?

No community builder is a different extension than jomsocial and so is xipt.

If you are using Jomsocial as your datasource, choose jomsocial as the datasource.
If you are using jomsocial user profile types, choose jomsocial as the user profile types and map the fields.

Perhaps you are having some knowledge / awareness problems related to the installation and configuration of Jomsocial. I would get the applications all working independently first and then try integrating.
