Unable to find install package

When installing the joomdle-joomla-package.zip I am receiving the "Unable to find install package" error from Joomla 3.4

I have downgraded joomla to 3.3 and it loaded just fine.

Thanks for the info. We will test J3.4 as soon as possible, and release a new package if necessary.

I am getting the same error. I am not a developer and getting here has been a great challenge. Is there any way to solve the problem without downgrading the Joomla version?
Help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The link gives some workarounds, and a manual fix. We cannot do anything else.

Hi Rainer, as Antonio has responded there are manual fixes to this Joomla problem if you do not wish to downgrade.

Alternatively, you may wish to perform a pull request directly from the Joomla updates here github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/6180
I realise this may be a little daunting for some - it is for me too

The final option is to wait for Joomla to release J3.4.1 which will fix this Joomla problem.

Note: You will find this issue affects many extensions not just Joomdle as RS Forms, linked above.
