Installing Joomdle for Joomla

The Joomdle for Joomla! extension consists of a main component, along with several modules and plugins. In addition, many extra Joomdle packages are available for download from the Joomdle website.

To install Joomdle for Joomla!, use Joomla!’s Extension Manager and upload the package named pkg_joomdle.zip. This single package installs the component, plugins, and modules in one step. It also enables the Joomdle task plugin and creates a scheduled task for data cleaning.

After installation, you will need to enable the Joomdle user plugin.

If you want to use multi factor authentication in Joomla, enable the Joomdle - MFA SSO plugin too.

Any additional plugins or modules that are not included in the main package must be installed separately.

Once Joomdle is installed, you should go to Components → Joomdle → Configuration. To get going, you only need to enter the Moodle URL and the Moodle auth token (that you will get once you install Joomdle on Moodle)
