It seems you found a bug.
Moodle 2.0 is much strict with data types, so I was expecting that some params may have not been tested.
I will try to replicate it locally when I can.
What mappings did you define? What Jomsocial version are you using?

are you using jomsocial to register?
are you filling all the fileds that you set mappings for?
What mappings did you set?

Hi, I have a similar but different problem.
XML-RPC Error (0): Invalid external api response: cat_description (Invalid external api response)
This happens whenever I create a new course under any category.
The installed was performed as per the wiki instructions.
I have installed Joomdle 4.1 and moodle 2.0

Hi.
I was unable to replicate your problem. Can you provide the steps you do to get to the error?

Hello everyone
I also found this error.
- joomla 1.5.22
- joomdle 0.41
- moodle 2.0.1
- Jomsocial 2.0.4
The problem happens every time the user (jomsocial) writes to the database, this happens when choose jomsocial in Additional data source.
I would add that if you get the message error, Jomsocial writes its data to the database.
In the case of video uploads the pages where the error is this: DOMAIN_SITE/videos/link.html
I hope it is clear to me I apologize for my bad English.
I open an account if you need to check the problem.
Thank's
Fabio

Hi Fabio.
Can you explain a little more what changes you made to "fix" the error? I have not been yet able to reproduce the problem locally.
Thanks,
Antonio
