hi

I am installing joomdle on moodle and as per installation docs everything was going fine till I copied the files to moodle/auth/joomdle directory, and when i visit Administration Menu → Notifications, its not showing joomdle on plugin check page, even if I click on reload, nothing happens.

And when I click on upgrade button on plugin check page, it shows me 500 internal error and additional a 404 not found error.

What am I doing wrong, please guide, I'll be very grateful.

hi.

What moodle version are you using?
Did you use the correct joomdle auth package for your version?

hi Antonio

thanks for quick response. I am using moodle 2.0 and I think I used the correct joomdle auth package for it.

Few days back I had integrated joomla 1.5 and moodle 2.0 on my WAMP local server perfectly fine. But on on hosting server this above mentioned error is coming.

thanks and regards

If it is not showing in list, verify that the files are in the right place (ie: not multiple subfolders or something like that)

joomdle folder with all files is in mydomain.com/classrooms/auth/ , where "classrooms" is the directory in which I have installed moodle 2.0.

just to check, i would remove the joomdle folder, and go to notifications again, to se if upgrade works, or it still gives you the error...

then, putting it back, and visit notifications again...

I don't know really, as no problems have been reported like this (while in 1.9 it could get more tricky to get it installed at times)

hi Antonio

I did just that. Removed the folder and upgrade worked fine. And now when again did put the joomdle back in auth, its showing same error, could it be any host server side of error?

thanks

Hi.

I have no idea why that can be happening... :(

Just to be sure, I would re-download and upload the auth_joomdle.zip package to the server...sorry, but I am out of ideas here.

hi antonio

I want the joomdle badly for my website but still stuck with problem mentioned before. did integrate joomla and moodle with jfusion, but it doesnt give me cool functions which joomdle offer.

Is it possible that problem maybe coming because I installed moodle through "Fantastico" script of CPanel?

thanks and regards
Suneet
