Joomla 1.5
Moodle 2.0
Joomdle .53

Hi Guys,
Seems like everything installed okay. However, I get the following error in system check:

"PHP error reporting E_DEPRECATED errors are enabled in your PHP configuration"

I looked in the configuration.php of joomla and couldn't find anything regarding "E_DEPRECATED". also checked .htaccess

Suggestions? thanks, David

Nobody seems to be responding to this error. So here's a picture:

Hi.

That is weird. It should not work with E_DEPRECATED errors on, but it is working for you (last green check means all is ok).

So, you can forget about the new failed check. I will try to find out why it is still working even when it is giving you an error.

It is a php config option.

How to configure php depends on your specific server enviroment, you should contact your hosting provider for more info

The weird thing is that I didn't have this error in .52 and now I get it in .53. After talking with my host, the setting to turn off E_deprecation is global and they can't turn it off just for me. The best way to turn it of is using php.ini which would need to be placed in every directory and subdirectory of joomla?

Please help

I'm now getting:

XML-RPC Error (0): Error in response - Missing following required key in a single structure: remoteid

Is this related to E_DEPRECATED errors?

No, not related. Don't worry about E_DEPRECATED: the ckeck needs to be improved.

So, what do yo do to get the xmlrpc error?

hi, I just upgraded to Joomdle 5.3 as well. And I also get this error of "E_DEPRECATED errors are enabled in your PHP configuration"

But all is fine in 5.2 version.
