You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts was created by Omar Nery's
Hello There!
For the past week and a half, I have been searching all over (Google AND Joomdle forums) for a solution to this. I have seen that many others have had similar issues, and that some have been marked as solved. But even after trying out some of their solutions I get not positive results.
As you can see from the images bellow, I believe I have followed all instructions. I hope someone can help me out. I am running out of time! Thank you.
Here is some info:
Errors:
1-Joomdle Plugin (Joomla) System Check Error:
You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list
2-Here is another error I believe is related to the one above:
XML-RPC Error (7021): The transport method you are trying to use is not permitted.
Versions:
Joomla 1.5.23
Moodle 1.9.10 (Build: 20101025)
Joomdle 0.54
Web address and install directories:
www.clelearning.com/joomla2011 (Joomla install directory)
www.clelearning.com/moodle2011 (Moodle install directory)
Web Host and IP:
FatCow Hosting

Hi there,
As you have entered the IP address already I would first look at the following:
- Is Moodle networking enabled?
- Is this really the correct IP address? Some times the IP we see in the public is different than what the server sees in a hosted environment.
- Do you get Moodle course information displaying in Joomla or just nothing works at all?
Also:
- Where does your 7021 error appear?
- I notice you had this problem about 10 months ago with a previous version of Joomdle. What did you do then to solve this problem? What has changed since then?

- Yes. Moodle Networking is Enabled
- I checked, double checked and triple checked to make sure I had the correct IP prior to posting my issue. I checked the Website IP in the control panel of the web host, I pinged the URL and I even called the host tech support to make sure it was the correct IP. I even asked them if they had any other alternate IP addresses. They said no. Antonio knows about FatCow's IP as well. He had a conversation with my boss about 10 months ago apparently.
- I get SOME information to display:
• Control Panel: Information shows up? YES.
• Configuration: Information shows up? YES.
• Users: Information shows up? NO.
XML-RPC Error (7021): The transport method you are trying to use is not permitted.
• Mappings: Information shows up? YES.
No additional data source selected in component configuration
• Profile Types: Information shows up? YES.
Profile types integration not enabled.
• Course Requests: Information shows up? NO.
XML-RPC Error (7021): The transport method you are trying to use is not permitted.
• Shop: Information shows up? YES.
Shop integration not enabled.
• System Check: Information shows up? YES. With Error:
You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list
- 7021 Errors appearances: (Joomdle Control Panel: Joomla Side)
• Users
• Course Requests
- I was not here for the problem from 10 months ago. I just got re-hired last week after a year. That was my boss (the owner of the company) who you guys talked to. I guess I should have chosen a different user name
Those installations (from 10 months) still remain on the server but are not being touched. I installed fresh copies of Joomla, Moodle and Jomdle. I used the versions recommended by your Joomdle documentation. I was going to use Moodle 2.0 but I've been having a little trouble upgrading or installing a fresh copy. Would Moodle 2.0.* make a difference? Would it help resolve my issue? By the way the problems from 10 months ago did not get solved. They just got marked as solved on the forum, but the issue still remained. When I came back on board, I decided to start from scratch, with everything clean and untouched, so it would only be MY OWN "mess" only
I hope I have provided you with enough information here. I can provide you (privately) with my Joomla/Moodle login information if you would like to take a closer look at things.
Thank you so much for your help.

Okay, I might have misunderstood a couple of your questions:
- Do you get Moodle course information displaying in Joomla or just nothing works at all?
- Where does your 7021 error appear?
In the screenshots below I will attempt to answer the questions:

UPDATE!
Thank you!

Hi.
It seems that your server may be using an internal IP to commnicate with itself, as the public IP you entered is ok.
To confirm, I would add: 0.0.0.0/0 to the list (allow all hosts). This is not secure, but it will confirm the problem, so we can move forward in finding a solution.

Hey you guys are awesome! Thank you so much.
The only thing is that I don't know what you guys did. I would like to know what you did to solve the problem so if or when I run into that error again I can quickly fix it.
clelearning.com/joomla2011 and clelearning.com/moddle2011 are directories created for testing
The real and final location for the installs are clelearning.com (for Joomla) and clelearning.com/edu (for Moodle)
Would it be safe to rename the moodle2011 folder to edu and change the settings/parameters to point to the right directory (edu)? Or should I install a fresh copy of moodle to /edu and set that up with all necessary Joomdle plugins/elements?
Again, thank you so much for your help and imput!
You guys rock!
 mar

Yes you can rename directories and just change the urls settings. This is what I do in my testing environments.
I'll send you a summary of what changes were made so you can reproduce later in the day. It was quite late my time and was falling asleep
