Hello,

I try to figure out this problem that appears in the System Check status page. I have followed what is described there:
System health check

And tried to reinstall multiple times from the begining....

I've Joomla 2.5.8
Moodle 2.4.1+
and Joomdle 0.9

Any idea of what it could be?

All other check status are good....

Thanks a lot for your help.

JC

This error message is normally because Joomla cannot see Moodle. How did you configure your Moodle url inside the Joomdle configuration?

Chris,

I have the exact url of the learning site:

"http ://elearning.mycompany.com" (with the space of course)

It is in curl and the Token is entered.

No internal IP adress had been entered.

I assume that domain "elearning.mycompany.com" is really "mycomany.com/elearning" folder.

What happens when you enter http ://mycompany.com/elearning/"

The web site is on an OVH mutualized server hosted at IP 213.186.33.87

i have access by http ://cluster014.ovh.net/~mydomain/moodle

When I apply this modification, I loose:

- Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity

Joomdle Web Services stay in error....

But isn't that the path the hosting company provides you before you domain has been replicated around the world

Eg. http ://cluster014.ovh.net/~mydomain/moodle will, perhaps after 24-48 hours, resolve to mydomain.com

then inside mydomain.com you will have a folder called moodle mydomain.com/moodle

in fact i'm using sub domains coded in the ovh interface.

mydomain.com redirects to personnal server at home

elearning.mydomain.com redirects to ovh server subfolder in my /homez.XXX/www/moodle directory

I think when you say home, you mean /homez.xxx/www

I believe mydomain.com redirects to /homez.xxx/www

thus what i am suggesting is to configure the moodle url in joomdle to just mydomain.com/moodle

your earlier message "you loose moodle to joomla connectivity" is a different issue. get joomla to moodle working first.

At the check status page i have all status to OK except Joomdle Web Service

Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity works!

I Tried mydomain.cluster014.ovh.net/moodle/ The checck status page indicates:

XMLRPC PHP Extension
Joomdlehooks User Plugin enabled
cURL Enabled
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services Received empty response from Moodle

do you have an idea of the DNS config to apply?

I'm stuck in the m....

You should not need to worry about the DNS config. Just have your DNS all working and your domains replicated and that is sufficient.

"Joomdle Web Services: Received empty response from Moodle"

Means you still have a problem defining your Moodle location or something is your site (firewall, etc.)

You can see the list of error messages and the problems here www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check
