Jomsocial frontpage is very slow was created by Ahmed Alshaarawy
Hello

I like your joomodle very much ,but I had to disable the hook plugin to be of normal speed.
\
I serched jomsocial ,however they said the problem is in the joomlahook plugin ,what shall I DO ?

The real problem is that Jomsocial is triggering user events for all users shown in modules, thus calling Joomdle functions for each user, making it too slow.

You should ask Jomsocial if there is a way to disable that events.

I contacted them about that,but I can assure you that disabling hook plugin also makes jomsocial ajax loading faster.

so what if you add more configuration for that plugin,like "minimal options ?"

There is no "minimal" way to do it. Either the plugin executes or not, when the event is triggered.
User saved event should be triggered only when user is saved.
Jomsocial triggers it for all users in module.

Thanks for reply,I asked jomsocial for a refund,However I got reply asking for html edit,...But I already had enough of bugs with this app.

what about your easysocial plugin ,when will it be ready ?

We have the same problem.
So in this case maybe joomdle and jomsocial integration is useless. Ahmed did you come to conclusion to change your Social network system? It is gonna be a big headache.

Which Jomsocial version are you using? I have tested 3.1.0.1 locallly, and it seems it is not showing the problem (or maybe I am just not noticing)
