[Closed] new installation was created by Paul Santos
Hello

I'm trying to install on a joomla 1.6. I'm new to this, been reading the wiki but it is still not clear, do you have to install moodle also? on a different folder from joomla?

Thanks

Yes you still need to install and manage moodle like you normally would. Joomdle provides integration between Joomla and Moodle.

With regards to the database, it is up to you. I think most people install Moodle and Joomla in different databases, using defaults, to keep things simple. Of course there are pros and cons of having one database or using multiple. In my case, I use multiple databases.
