jmoodle web services - Source IP not allowed was created by Matt
Hi All,
I am new to this and have muddled my way through the moodle install and jmoodle install. All seems to be running OK but I have the error:
Joomdle Web Services Source IP not allowed
This is with J 1.6.3 and moodle 2.0.3.
I have tried my webserver IP address and 127.0.0.1 in the jmoodle configuration IP address in Joomla and nothing seems to make any difference.
The documentation states that there will be an IP displayed in Joomla 1.6, in Joomdle general config but I can't find this area.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Matt.

Hi.
You need to put the IP in the Joomdle component configuration in Joomla backend.

But, don't you get an IP showed along with the message? That is the IP you need to enter.

Ok, sorry, I was looking at my current code, but I did not yet uploaded Alpha5.
So, yours does not have that additional info.
If you want me to send you a copy of Alpha5 so you can test, send me an email at antonio@joomdle.com.

Great. Alpha 5 sorted this out by giving a message with the correct IP address. Alpha 4 doesn't give the ip address.

Just add the IP in the xmlrpc joomdle plugin.
EDIT: if in J1.6/j1.7, add the IP in Joomdle golbal config in Joomla.
