[Closed] Installation Errors

I have been having difficulty getting an installation of Joomdle to work in Joomla 1.6. I repeatedly have errors stating the JInstaller cannot find the Joomla XML setup file, the XML setup file, and the Path is not a folder /var/www/vhosts/...websitename/httpdocs

Can you please help me figure out the problem? I have had my NOC guys try doing a manual installation and look at setting up the system to do exactly what the error says is missing but to no avail.

Please let me know what you can recomend. I have attached a screenshot.

This is funny, I thought I had replied to this question already. Almost every time we such an error it relates to the zip file not being unzipped. So just to ensure, have you unzipped the joomdle installation package?

I have been the same problem and i did the unzipped, look the messenge:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByPath() in /home/bombou/public_html/bombou/administrator/components/com_joomdle/install/install.php on line 60

Help me step by step please.

Hi.

It seems you installed J1.5 version in Joomla 1.6/1.7. You need to download Joomdle for Joomla 1.6/1.7 alpha.

and show this message: JInstaller:: Install: Can not find the XML file installation

As above, did you unzip the file first? The file to install is called "joomdle-joomla-package.zip".
