Joomla 1.7/Moodle 1.9 SSO

I have Moodle 1.9.10 and Joomla 1.7 installed on the same server and followed all of the set up requirements. The link from Joomla to my Moodle course works, it logs me in and lets me navigate thru the course, but if I click to exit the course in Moodle to find a different course or click on my name to go to my profile, it takes me to the log in page. Am I missing a setting that would keep me logged into both Moodle and Joomla once I clicked on that button?

I am not sure of the problem you describe.

If you log in Joomla, and in another window, you open Moodle, are you logged in?
If so, can you navigate any links in Moodle?
