Does it work with Moodle 2.1.1? was created by Tom
First of all, THANKS for providing what could be (if I get it to work
a tremendous extension for the Joomla CMS. I am really excited to see what can be achieved having them work together. But first comes first... installation...
Is it correct that Joomdle does NOT work with the latest Moodle version (2.1.1) ? You are referring to 2.0 as a requirement and that is ment literally?
I tried it on a test site. The Joomla 1.7.1 site is working and Moodle 2.1.1 also runs fine, installed in the "home/mySite/moodle" folder . Then comes the integration, using the "joomdle-0.6-for-joomla16-alpha7" package.
I created the "Joomdle" folder (permission 755) in "Moodle/auth/" and copied the unpacked Moodle 2.0 files into that folder. When going through the finalisation of the install process as described in your dosumentation I am getting the error

Anything I can do to fix or is it just not compatible?

no,
it's the 2.0 I used, tried several times. Can you confirm that you tried it on 2.1.1 and that it works at your end?
THANKS

Hi there,
I have been using 2.1.1 in a test environment without any noticeable problems - certainly not those that you have shown above. Are you able to install any plugins? What happens if your permissions are set to 777?

Chris,
I have been trying to get Joomla 1.5.23 operating with Moodle 2.1.1 using R0.6. All appears correctly set up on the Moodle end and all OK on the Joomla end apart from the Joomdle Web Services not being operational when I do a Joomdle System Check.
Is the setup you have working with Joomla 1.5 or do I need to go to 1.7 to get this to work?
Any advice appreciated.

@geoffbne Have you looked through the wiki for the FAQ on system health check? You may wish to start a new thread as this problem is different to that here.
@TTom911. Yes I do not use 777 either. As you indicate this is just a check to see why you are having problems installing. I would also check that the correct files were copied into auth/joomdle
