Jomsocial best practise was created by Rune Skretteberg
Have installed Joomla 1.5.15 + Moodle 2.0.5 and are up and running with Scorm packets using Adobe Captivate 5.

Next step is to build a community with JomSocial to take care of the group membership registration, and hopefully integrate groups with different courses and reporting.

Some tips, anyone?

Noticed that nobody has given you any tips - hope you don't feel neglected :)

Joking a side, your request is a too vague. What type of tips are you looking for? Related to what part of your site? Groups, Jomsocial? Moodle? Joomdle?

One other question - are you planning on having Moodle or JomSocial drive the group registration functionality? In other words, if someone registers for a course are they automatically registered into a corresponding JomSocial group (1 group for each course) or are you thinking that when someone signs up for a JomSocial group that they will automatically be registered into a course (or group of courses) in Moodle?

Right now, I believe Joomdle supports the first option with Moodle course registration driving the JomSocial group integration / registration.

We do have this Joomdle feature turned on, but from what I have seen on our school site, most teachers use Moodle for communicating course info - instead of JomSocial Groups. That said, our students have created many groups outside of the courses they are registered for...
