[Closed] CB and mapping fields was created by Mircea
Hello,
I use Joomla 1.7.3, Joomdle 0.61 and CB 1.7. I have a problem mapping moodle fields, none of CB fields aren't mapped to Moodle. I verified system settings and it's all green;i tried to use curl and fopen, same problem. All i can get in Moodle is username, firstname, lastname, email, moodle authentication set to joomlde and that's all. It's like none of custom fields in CB are used for mapping.
Thank you

Hi.
Did you create the mappings in Joomdle backend->mappings?

Hello,
Sure, all desired CB fields are mapped in Joomdle
What i notice is that fields without cb_ suffix (firstname, username, email etc) have no problem, data was sent to Moodle. But i can't create new fields without cb_ suffix, it is added automatically.

Hi.
I don't know what is happening to you. I just tested on my j1.7.3 installation, and syncing custom fields worked fine.

Should i do something else after i create the user profile in CB? I tried "Sync Moodle Profiles" option, nothing else happened...

Update: i did some tests using CB tools and get following messages about Joomdle:
CB plugin "Joomdlehooks Communty Builder": no database or no database description.
CB plugin "CB Joomdle My courses": no database or no database description.
It's ok to see that messages?

Ok, i made it work, but i think it should not work that way:
I created a new user in CB. User was added to Moodle but as usual, only main fields was completed. Returned to Joomdle and clicked "Sync Joomla profile" option. Of course, all custom CB fields was cleaned.
Then, when i wrote again values in CB fields and voila, data is mapped to Moodle.
So, to conclude: in my case, it work only if i press "sync joomla profile" button and re enter values in CB.

Solved! Of course, it was my fault, i had firstname and lastname fields added to mapping area, but in CB i use "single name field" option.
