Help with Joomdle for Joomla 1.7 #1
Hi everyone, please help if you can.
I am new to Joomla! And Moodle/Joomdle.
I can't seem to find the download link for Joomdle that will run on Joomla 1.7, can anyone advise?
Also once it is installed, will Joomdle run from the components folder like other extensions, or do I have to separately install Moodle as well? If so can anyone advise how to integrate both programmes with each other? I would be very happy if I just install Joomdle and that was that, but I understand there is some learning to be done.
I am running my Joomla! Site on CloudAccess.net.
Kind regards,
Laurence

Help with Joomdle for Joomla 1.7 #2
Hi Laurence,
Just download the latest version of Joomdle, 0.61, I'm using it with J1.7 and Moodle 2.1.2 without problems.
You have to install Moodle separately; if you want your Joomla site to be the main one, just install Moodle in a subfolder like CloudAccess.net/moodle. Installing Moodle is very straightforward, as is Joomla, just follow the instructions.
Once you have both Joomla and Moodle installed, install Joomdle following the instructions provided here (DOCUMENTATION). Installation in Joomla is really easy using the built-in installer; there are a few steps you have to do in Moodle before getting everything working, but this is well documented, just follow the instructions provided in this site. If you have any particular problem once everything is installed post it here.
Regards,
Julio

Help with Joomdle for Joomla 1.7 #3
I have the joomdle-0.6-for-joomla16-alpha8.zip downloaded and it doesn't install with a "JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file" message resulting.
Upon searching through the folders in this .zip file, it seems there might be a number options within it.
Do I need to select one for installation into a Joomla 1.7 instance? If so, which one?
Regards
Adam Lossing
