Moodle 3.9.3

I have enabled groups plugin. I have set up the characteristic Groups and set the name with ID: Name.

When 'Buy courses for children' and 'Parent auto-assign' is off the Group gets assigned when the purchase is turned to confirm.

When 'Buy courses for children' and 'Parent auto-assign' is on the Group does not get assigned when the purchase is turned to confirm. I also test with 'Buy courses for children' on and 'Parent auto-assign' off, but the group was still not assigned.

How do we resolve so the Group is set, as I will be having the children option on?

Hi David.
I checked the code for this plugin, and it turns out it is not prepared to handle groups in children purchases. We'll review it to try to make it work with children and groups, and get back to you.

Hi again. I looked more into this, and adding support for children purchases with groups is not a trivial task.
We'll need to modify Joomdle database and core Joomdle code, so it is not just about updating a plugin.
I'll move this to Feature Requests so we can work on it when possible.

I will review the process I plan to follow, but will probably have manage manually in the meantime.
