I am using IOMAD, which is a multi tenant variant of Moodle. It uses course categories to seperate tenants. Joomdle works well with IOMAD, but I am looking for a possibility to map and sync selected Joomla user groups to selected Moodle Course Categories (similar to the mapping of Joomla user groups to Moodle themes).

Hi Atle.

We do not currently have a plugin for that.
How would it work? If a user is added to a Joomla group, he should be enrolled to all the courses in the mapped category?
Please write to development at joomdle if you want to explore this further.

Thanks for your reply, Antonio.
I will send you an email to explain more, because I was not very specific, or maybe also a bit misleading in the feature request.
For all other readers I would just explain that IOMAD is Moodle with additional features. Most importantly it allows you to create multiple organizations (like companies or schools) that sit on top of your Moodle installation, and IOMAD provides a space where users and courses can be precisely assigned. Users from one company can’t see users from another, and additional devolved administration, course sharing, individual branding and organization-specific capabilities are available. More information is can be found at www.iomad.org .
Joomdle works well with IOMAD, and if you organize Joomla users into user groups corresponding with the IOMAD "user groups" (companies or schools), then only the Joomla content, for example blog articles, relevant for that user group, will be displayed to the user.
