Hello,

I'd like to add a custom attribute, "Company Name" to my Joomla-Moodle users so that new users need to fill this out when registering.

I suspect this will involve:
a) adding the field to the Joomla registration page
b) altering the synch code that Joomdle uses to create the new identity in Moodle.

Can you point me towards any threads, stories, or any quick advice about what I will need to do to make this happen?

Hi there,

In the upcoming releases of Joomdle we will allow you to map fields from various extensions. As you know today Joomla does support such things nor do we wish to hack Joomla. So we are going to rely on various 3rd party extensions to provide that information allowing you to map the fields across. 3rd party extensions may include Jomsocial, CB, Virtuemart, Tienda, etc.

Let me know if there are other places that this information can be pulled from.
