Feature Request - Will Pay!

Hi Ruth,
I have been chatting with Chris via email on this project, although I haven't heard from him in a while. Hopefully we will be able to work together on this requirement especially as there now seems to be demand from more than one person!

Bizarrely our paths have crossed before when we chatted about a rightmove feed about a year ago. I didn't get authorization from the client to release the source code but I am still pressuring him to give back to the community!

Sorry Oct has been dreadful for me and I don't see it letting up this month either as I prepare for the new calendar year launching a new education centre.

When I last spoke to Antonio, it wasn't something that he wasn't able to commit to either at this time and was concerned about letting any customers down in terms of timing. I was actually thinking about this last week when I was scoping out some work for one of my internal projects and thought that perhaps a compromise would be to work on the specs together and then outsource a bulk of the work. I need to speak with Antonio again on this to see if this approach seems logical for him too since he would need to be involved at some point.

Your thoughts?

I'm not overly bothered about who physically does the work involved to actually produce any new code that is required, so that would be fine by me. :laugh:

The area where I need support would be in clarifying the scope of the work as I don't feel able to do this properly with my current level of expertise with Moodle/Joomdle. If you could give me some support on producing a spec and point me in the direction of a suitable php programmer then that would be a great help and I would really appreciate it. :woohoo: I would also need some direction on the integration between all of the tools, including any new ones or 3rd party ones that you think would suit my requirements.

Oh, and I would also need some idea of cost to run by my client to confirm he his happy to pick up the bill, of course!

PS The timescales on this project have slipped a couple of time already due to the client not supplying stuff to me on time so I'm not so precious on timescales anymore!

Just had a lengthy call with Antonio on this and have some basic design thoughts that may help to make this easier. We will spend some time this week investigating the technical options and user implications to discuss with you. Give us a few days - say till the end of the week as it requires additional discussions with some 3rd parties again.
