action buttons while users are not logged in was created by Ahmed Alshaarawy
When a user click on a course action button (enroll,buy,...) if he is not logged in joomla he will be redirected to login page when he click that button.

What about when he clicks that action button (enroll, buy,..) he is redirected to login page and then after login he is redirected back to the course action (paypal, enroll,.....)

here is a similar question:

Hi there,

I have read both your link and your message and am not quite sure if you are having a problem or if you are asking how to do something.

The link suggests that they are using Moodle's paypal to make payment. Is this what you are doing? Or are you using one of the Joomla e-commerce extensions like VM or Hikashop?

Can you provide your exact problem or error message so we can better help you.

yes let's suppose Im using PayPal.

The exact problem is:

1-link of the course on Joomla opened by un-logged user
2- the user clicks on the button (enroll in the course,....)
3-the link redirect the user to joomla login (I'm using joomla as the login system)
4- the user then logs into joomla and no further re-direction to the action button
so the user have to navigate one more time to the course page

Joomla has a post login redirection option when you set up the login page or module. Have you set up that option? Joomdle does not manage the login functions, thus using the module or component from Joomla should give you what you want.

When you say paypal, there are two options.
1) Moodle Paypal and moodle will control that and therefore you may not be redirected where you want or have the visual look you want. As a result very few people are using this option due to the limitations presented.
2) Paypal through a Joomla component. This will need to be an extension that integrates with Joomdle.

If you are going to use Hikashop, I don't think you will have this problem. When you click the buy button, Joomdle will take you to Hikashop. Hikashop will manage the purchase, user registration, etc. Once purchased Hikashop will send out emails and you will have post purchase messages. Ie there is no need to go somewhere to login and then return to purchase.

The original link you posted from stackoverflow is really related to a Moodle Paypal purchase which provides a very different user experience than using Hikashop or something else Joomla related.
