[Closed] Joomla account requirements/order for ecommerce

I have a new Joomdle site and are just about to implement Hikashop e-commerce. I have a question about the order of process.

The developer is telling me that the user has to create a Joomla account before they can access the e-commerce portion and purchase a course.

It makes more sense to me to not create user accounts until the purchase is done. I prefer the process to be:
- user browses courses and selects one for purchase
- user purchases course
- user enters account details
- account is created (with automatic approval)
- user is sent receipt and link to login
- user logs in, accesses course

Is this process flow possible?

Thanks in advance for your response.

You need to be logged in when you make purchase, but that is how Hikashop works: it prompts user to log in/register when he starts checkout, so I think that is what you want.

That is what I want. Alright - I'll work with the developer towards that.

Thank you for the response.
