Moodle updated course not shown in Joomdle

We have a good working configuration of Moodle 3.3.1 /Joomdle 1.1.3/ Joomla 3.6.5.

My customer has updated a course in Moodle (removing part of a module) but even after clearing
caches (joomla/moodle), when you view the course on the joomla website via moodle
the removed content is shown. In Moodle you see it as it should be.

Does anybody have an idea where I should look for the solution to this problem? The problem
exists for over a week so servercache can be excluded too.

I guess you are using the course view in Joomdle in Joomla to display the course, right?
If the content was really removed, I think it should not appear.... but clearly it does, so something weird is going on.
I would need to see it to have a better idea, so you can send credentials and links to antonio@joomdle.com and I will take a look soon.

For reference: problem was caused by cron not running in Moodle. Activity deletion is completed by cron, so Joomdle was still fetching the data.
