[Solved] Error When Trying To Run Cron from Moodle was created by Bruce Rick
I just upgraded Joomdle from 0.95 to 1.0. Everything seems to be working and connecting properly and the System Check shows everything being correct. I noticed that I cannot run Cron from Moodle now though. I get the following error:
I did notice, to get everything to work properly, I had to leave the "Joomdle's Joomla authentication token" empty in Moodle, though there is a token set up in Joomla. When I copy the token over to Moodle though it didn't like it, so leaving it blank seemed to work for everything.
I'm running Moodle 2.8.1 (Build: 20141113) and Joomla 3.3.6 if that helps any.
Thanks,
Bruce Rick

Sorry, you have not provided a valid password to access this page

I don't think this has anything to do with Joomdle.
It seems you set a cron password in Security->Site policies.
You may have done it without noticing, as it also happened to me: browser filled site password in cron password field, and when I saved I didn't notice it was filled, so next time I tried cron, it failed with password error.
You just need to remove the cron password and you should be fine.

Antonio,
You are correct. I've never set this thing before but somewhere along the line it obviously got set. Weird stuff. I would never have thought of that as I didn't even know that function existed in Moodle. Now I feel like an idiot
Thanks Again,
Bruce Rick

No problem, when I read your message I did not know of that function either. Funny thing is the same thing had happened to me in my local testing installation (where I don't really run cron), but I did not noticed until I went in to check it.
