Hello,

Here the elements of my installation.
  • Joomla 3.2
  • Joomdle v 1.0
  • Moodle 2.8
  • Server: Version 1.8.3 XAMPP with PHP 5.5.6
  • Windows 8.1

  • All elements are very well installed, Joomla, Moodle and Joomdle. But when I do the system check, I always get this message:

Joomla URL seems To Be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle.

    I have done all this:
  • Re-check your Joomla URLs in Joomdle auth plugin configuration, in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle.
  • Make sure you include http: //
  • Check Joomla multi-language setup and enter appropiate parameters in Moodle side if Necessary
  • Check Any That May mod_security rules deny traffic XMLRPC
  • Disable Any security Joomla extensions you-have installed May
  • Disable Any Joomla SEF extensions May you-have

  • But nothing changes. I always get this error message.

Is it there an item in my components that would not be compatible?
What else can I do to make this work ?
    Thanks for help

    Stephane

Usually this is a result of
- the Joomla URL defined in Moodle is incorrect;
- XML-RPC not installed and/or enabled
- SEF issues / incompatibilities

Here are some threads that have similar error messages

The installation / configuration instructions are

Note: When installing locally on Windows 8.1 many applications struggle with either 127.0.0.1 or localhost. In the first link above, I have posted my configuration which is windows 8.1 + XAMPP.
