[Solved] Connection problem between Moodle & login-function was created by Tarek Adamski
Hi guys, first of all that is my first topic in this forum, second please apologize my (not so intermediate) english.
I am working for my school and we just completed our new website during a long-term-period-project. Our school uses Moodle with a high number of courses, so we had to integrate moodle in our website, which was integrated with the Joomla content-management-system (version 3.3).
We just installed the newest Joomdle plugin, since this day, our login-function at the frontend of the website is not working. If you click to sign out of our website, the Joomdle plugin connects to the Moodle site and then you are not able to log out. Also logging in is not so easy, because you have to try 5 to 10 times, to successfully log in.
Please, we need help in this case. Thanks to all!

Hi there,
It is not normally to have to log in 5 to 10 times. This is unusual behaviour. A few things first:
- Which version of Moodle are you running?
- What are you using to login? Ie Joomla login or a 3rd party extension
- Are you using a different browser (ie chrome and firefox not two windows) for Joomla front end and Joomla backend. If not this will confuse the process as moodle does not have a backend and frontend.
- What does your Joomdle health check show?

Hi Chris,
thank you for your response!
- Our school uses 2.5.9
- the login system is the default login frontend system from the Joomla content-management-system
- we tested the error in many different browsers, but we use the same for both functions
- Joomdle Health Check:
But we already head the connectivity between Joomla and Moodle with the plug-in. The connection was successfull, but if everything worked, the login-system failed.

It is logical that your login will not work because you have those red X. You must solve this first before testing login or Moodle data views. You will need to review the health check issues here
www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check
I do not know what keine ruckmeldung von means and google translate does not give a logical English translation to assist you any further. Maybe you can help to translate to English or enable English on the backend to get the English error message.

You need to enter the Joomla token in Moodle side.

Hello to all of you!
On the seetings-page on Moodle side there is no possibility to enter the Joomla token. Is it possible to enter it at the back-end or maybe by the console?
UPDATE:
Thank you! We just solved the problem, the version was not equal to the Joomla Joomdle plug-in!

Great thanks. As soon as you said, there was no field for the Joomla token it gave the problem away that you implemented the old Joomdle in Moodle.
Thanks for the update
Good luck with your implementation.
