Hi, I read the warning about the fact that older versions of joomdle are not supported anymore, and I'd really like to purchase the last vesion, but I have a problem with this: I have a 2.5 joomla installation and I can't update it at the moment. I see all the available downloads are now for joomla 3 only. Isn't there a way to figure out all this? Thanks for your support, and sorry if this isn't the proper section of the forum, I've been looking for related threads but haven't found.anything.

I am sorry, but Joomdle for J2.5 is not supported anymore.

You can download the package from Sourceforge, but you won't be able to use the new plugins, as they are J3 only.

Hi Claudio

Further to Antonio response, Joomla.org has stop supporting J2.5 for quite some time. As a user I understand the pains of upgrading, I myself still have some J2.5 servers as well, however with regards to Joomdle it integrates with so many 3rd party extensions who have also stopped supporting J2.5. Therefore, for Joomdle to support J2.5 on its own, would not provide the benefits to customers considering they would not be able to integrate with the 3rd party extensions.

If you wish to download the older versions, you are welcome to do so. However, we cannot predict how well it would work with all the 3rd party extensions who have also stopped supporting J2.5.

I hope you understand the complexity of the issue and reasons why development and support is focused on J3+

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. I have one more question, not strictly connected to the other one: a couple of years ago I used the old vesion of joomdle, and when a new user registered in Joomla the plugin auto-created a user in Moodle, but not in Joomdle. So I had to do it manually, to finally get the SSO working. The new version of joomdle fixed this? Thanks very much.

That's a weird scenario I don't remember seeing.
Anyway, current Joomdle SSO is working fine in many sites.
