Users not created correctly in Moodle was created by Atle Johnsen
I have the exact same issue on my development server. I am using Bitnami Cloud hosting, with Joomla and Moodle installed. Individually these 2 apps are working fine, but on Joomdle System Check I get red light on Joomdle Web Services with the error "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle", although I am sure that the URL is correct..
I also tried the modification to auth.php as suggested by Antonio, but that did not change the situation.
I have 3 other live installations with other hosting services, and on these everything works fine, also when I clone from my development server. So in my case I believe it must be a server configuration setting and not related to joomla-joomdle-moodle.

Hi Atle.
I moved your post to a new topic, as it is not really related to the other one, even if you have a similar looking problem.
As you say, your problem here is a configuration one: something is preventing Moodle to Joomla correct communication. You will need to find out what is causing this.

Hi AJ
I have not found a solution, and I also have a bitnami wamp stack with same issue. For me it has not really been a problem, because when I transfere from my development to a live site, everything is fine.

Sir,
Did you find any solution to the issue. If so I would be interested to know.
I am considering to use to use my bitnami cloud hosting and point my domain DNS servers to their IPs. But in this case it would be necessary to have the issue with users not created correctly in Moodle fixed.
The Bitnami cloud hosting gives great speed to run Joomla and Moodle, which is not the case with the regular shared hosting accounts that is commonly available. However it cost significanly (24 USD pr mnth)
Regards

Hi Alte.
I don't know how bitnami works, but if you want I can try talking a look at your bitnami site that shows the problem.

Thanks for your kind offer, Antonio.
I will send you the credentials shortly by email to development@joomdle.com.
I have backed up the site, so just feel free to do whatever.
