Joomdle 1.0.5 + Jomsocial 4.1.5 poor performance was created by CJ
Hi guys,
I will just create another topic since I can't reply to Antonio's comment regarding the poor performance of Joomdle+Jomsocial site.
Anyway, Antonio said that "It is normal that it takes more time to log in once Joomdle is enabled, as it has to load Moodle too." but while browsing the joomdle demo site, the performance is really awesome. Just wondering how did you guys set it up.
1. Are we using Jomsocial for the social network?
2. May I know the version of the Joomla, Moodle and Jomsocial?
3. How did you guys improved the performance? What caching method did you guys used?
Thank you very much in advance!

You are not able to reply to Antonio's response because you need to log in using the ID you used to purchase your subscription to post in the 3rd party integration forum. I shall make a few general comments regarding the demo here. For specific support questions, please login using your other ID.
When Antonio said it is slower, he really means slower than just Joomla. 30 Seconds is too long IMO and there is likely an issue with your setup / environment.
For the demo:

For the demo:
- We are using Jomsocial.
- They are all older versions of each. It is being upgraded now and I do not imagine much difference in performance in fact, perhaps even better given Joomla is faster.
- There is no caching involved aside from the normal Joomla cache. However, because the demo is not run very often, the cache is really expired and loaded fresh each time. Furthermore, login modules are not cached and should not be.
