[Solved] Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity and visa versa was created by Keith
In the System Check I have two items that do not work Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity and Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity but Joomdle Web Services is working. From the notes it says there may be a security issue. We host with UK2.net and I have raised a ticket with them about this. Currently they are asking this:
Thank you for your reply! If there are any security issues, they will be logged, possibly in the firewall log and likely in the server logs. I can check both using your public IP to see if anything was triggered. Could you provide this? If I don't find anything, I'll escalate this ticket to our 2nd Line techs to consult with them regarding potential security measures that could be preventing this.
I have provided this information to them and am awaiting a response.
Is there anything else I should be doing or asking them?

Hi.
Check permissions in moodle/auth/joomdle folder. If they are too permissive, your hosting could be giving errros abut it.

Folders are set to 0777 and files are set to 0666
What should they be set to?
Many thanks
I checked other folders and found they were set to 0744 and the files set to 0644 so I made these changes and it works now !
Many thanks
