Can I move Joomdle from 0.9 to 1.0? was created by Arasp
Hello Dear Antonio,
I have been member of Joomdle since 2010 and at this moment joomdle 0.9 is running on my Joomla and it is well integrated with my akeeba subscription in Joomla. When people pay via Akeeba they will have access to Moodle courses instantly.
Now I see that you have made some plug in into paid system and unfortunately since I am located in Iran and Iran is still under the USA sanctions we cannot pay by paypal, we can only pay if you have someone in Iran.
Now my questions :
If I move to the newest joomdle version will my system keep intact? as I mentioned above it is working fine with Akeeba Subscription (Will I have the same feature or not)
Thank you,
Arasp Kazemian

Hi there,
Akeeba subscriptions is a discontinued product by Akeeba for a number of years already. Therefore, we have also stopped developing new releases for this plugin.
So in short, no the latest Joomdle will not work with the old Akeeba. If you wish to move up to the latest Joomdle version you will need to change your subscription extension to say Payplans.
If you are adventurous, you could try upgrading to the latest Joomdle (Joomla and Moodle) on a test server and then try using (likely with hacking) the old akeeba plugin. We will not be able to provide support should you choose this route.
