Hi Antonio. I've just upgrade my moodle site in 3.1 and i noticed that after login in joomla site courses with greek characters aren't written properly (see the attached screenshot). When i login moodle site greek characters are ok. Joomla 3.5.1
Thank you in advance
Andreas

Hi there,

Just a quick acknowledge before Antonio has the opportunity to reply.

Moodle 3.1 has only just been released, May 23rd, and we have not yet had the opportunity to fully test Joomdle and associated plugins. However, first looks has identified some changes to Moodle which affect Joomdle implementations. We recommend upgrading in a test environment first to verify your specific environment.

Hi, thanks for the bug report.

I can confirm the problem. Looking at Moodle changelog, I see they have a new implementation of XMLRPC, removing old Zend one:
tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-52209

This seems to be causing the encoding problem. We will study it as soon as we can to try to provide a fix.

I did some more debugging, and it seems Moodle has changed for its core web services too.
I have opened a ticket in the tracker to see if we can get more info:

Antonio I installed the new version (1.0.6) both in joomla & moodle but the problem wasn't solved.

If you look at the link in moodle tracker, you will see that this is a Moodle bug, so they will need to fix it, not Joomdle.
It's already in integration review state, so I guess it will be added real soon.
