Received empty response from Moodle was created by kwilder
Joomla 3.5.1
joomdle 1.0.6
Moodle 3.1 - old version 2.9

Joomdle 1.0.6 is setup up in Joomla and connects to a older version on Moodle 2.9 (in a different directory) green check everything except "Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity". This ran great for last year classes.

I changed the URL to the new directory and added the new token in Joomdle. I get red x on the last two items on the system check. I have compared both moodles setups and everything is set up the same. I have gone through the removed and re-installation web service and tockens. I am still getting "Received empty response from moodle".

Is there anything else I can try to get the new moodle to connect.

Double-check new Moodle URL (including http://)
If new Moodle is on the same server as old working one, I don't know why you would get empty reply, as that's usually caused by server configuration.

I did check the http:// I even copied it a pasted it in a browser and it connects to the page.
This is why I am so confused also in why it is not working.
Any other idea that I might try?

I dond't know... if it is working with old Moodle it should not be a firewall or dns problem... or is it a new domain?
Other than that, I cannot tell you much more without looking at it.

No it is the same domain.
How can I get you information to check out the system. I need to get this up in the next couple of days I have teacher come back to work and if I can't get the uses name over from joomla I will have to do a buck import, and uninstall the joomdle.
