test site connection error was created by Jason E
I have set up a test site which is a replica of my main site.
I made all the users anonymous.
i did this so I can have people work on it without worrying about compromising my customer data.
When I made the users anonymous, I broke the moodle and joomla users for webhooks.
i recreated some but it's not quite working.
My system check shows Joomla can connect with moodle, but moodle doesn't connect to joomla.

XMLRPC PHP Extension :)
Joomdlehooks User Plugin enabled :)
cURL Enabled :)
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity :)
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity  Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services  Received empty response from Moodle

Any ideas?

Most probably, you broke the joomdle connector user when you anonymize your data.

I would create service in Moodle again, creating joomdle connector user.

Also, make sure you have changed Joomdle configuration in Joomla and Moodle to point to the new test site.
