I recently updated to Joomla 3.6.0 from 3.5.1 (i've had issues updating further than that and still haven't been able to fix them - but I will update to 3.6.2 as soon as I can). I also updated my JomSocial to 4.2.4. Now I have an error code that comes up upon login to my JomSocial site. It reads:

The temporary file isn't there for CURL!

The JomSocial folks say this is a Joomdle issue and to come to you for a solution. I've read a few other posts on the site and didn't quite understand the final solution.

Can you help with a fix for this, please?

That error indicates that the file could not be loaded via cURL when trying to do SSO.

I think this error should not appear because you upgraded Joomla or Jomsocial...maybe you upgraded PHP also?
Try disabling redirect-less SSO in joomdle config in Joomla, to se if that helps.
