Two Joomdle connections on one IP address was created by Robert
Hi,
We want to setup a test site, next to our live site (Joomla - Joomdle - Moodle) with different domain names (but same IP, same server). Is that possible or are we to expect some conflict over xmlrpc protocol pointing the sites with same ip ?
Thanks for any hints or tips and tricks regarding this issue...

Thank you for this info saman!
I began the installation and seem to have a working copy, but it bothers me that the "Joomla auth token" are the same for the original and the copy, not being sure if this could cause issues, I rather have the "Joomla auth token" changed for the test (copied) site. Any idea how to generate a new "Joomla auth token" ? (the field is blocked)

Hi.
It's no problem to have 2 installations on same IP.
As for the token: it's ok to have the same one, but if you want to change it just to be sure you cannot mix enviroments at any time, you would need to go into the database, #__extensions table, and search for name=com_joomdle. Then, edit params field and emtpy "joomla_auth_token" parameter. Then you can go to Joomdle config screen in Joomla, and when you save, a new token will be created.
