So, I configured my local installaiton to show that box, but I registered and SSO worked fine.
That said, in my case it was different: I am registered as soon as I fill the small form. In your site, I get redirected to complete the registration page. I don't know if that can be the reason for the different behaviour.
This is also something that I was thinking of.
At some point I had several pages where people filled out lots of stuff.
I need to see if I can now just go from the mini registration to having an account with out having to go to step 1
Step 1 is kind of pointless any way.
The only thing that is different on the step 1 page is the submit button.
If I need to get Stackideas to help me with this I think that tomorrow rather than today would be realistic!
