Hi Antonio

I am not sure if this is the same thing as in my recent post.
www.joomdle.com/forum/installation/12067...odle-login-back-door
One way or the other this is defiantly new…

If I go here:
www.finalbug.net/blog-final-cut-training-resolve-etc

And click on any of the Recent Users:
I get taken here:
www.finalbug.net/component/users/?view=login

This did not happen before.

Previously I would have:

Clicked on a Recent User
Been taken to an ES page where I was instructed that I could not view the profile a& need to login/create an account to proceed!?!

I have to admit that I did update to the latest version of ES the reason being this here:

stackideas.com/apps/item/3376-hikashop-plugin

Which only works with Easysocial v2.0.11 and above.
I was previously using v2.0.10

Any ideas what is going on?

thanks

Paul

Maybe what you need is just a ES plugin to redirect normal login page to ES page? You could ask ES support if such a plugin exists.

Hi Paul.

I am currently traveling with very limited internet connectivity, so I won't really be able to look at your site until I return on Feb 25.

But yes, that's what I was expecting.
For example in Jomsocial, you had plugins to redirect, so users never see normal joomla logjn page, but instead Jomsocial login page.
I guess something like that must be available for ES? You can ask their support.

Hi Antonio

Similar to my other thread.
But this time around I know a little more.
From Stackideas:

Seems like you've make a menu item for Profile (Alias: my-unique-post-production-profile) where set only registered user only can access.
I've changed it to public access and now public user can access the Easysocial's user profile

The solution:

enable the com_users Redirection in the (extensions>plugins>system-easysocial)

Hope this helps some one

Paul
