ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS after upgrade to Joomla 3.7.0 was created by tommyp
I just updated our existing Joomla site to Joomla version, 3.7.0. It runs on Linux, with MySQL, and PHP 5.6.30, with Apache 2.2.We have Joomdle 1.0.5
When we try to access the domain it gives us the too many redirects error and won't load the page. It tacks on en/component/users/?view=login&Itemid=113 to the domain which is apparently wrong. I tested this upgrade out on our dev server first which is where this error is. When I look at our prod server Joomla tacks on /en/component/users/?view=login So I don't know what the "Itemid=113" is. Or where it is all of a sudden coming from. If I remove the "Itemid=113" from the dev url I can get to the correct page--the user log in page. But then once I try to log in I get the too many redirects error again. It tacks on "Itemid=133".
If we try our domain/administrator I can get into the admin backend. And I can log in. I see no errors there.
I've cleared out the cookies and the cache. Still no luck.
Any ideas?

Do you think this is caused by Joomdle? I have upgraded some sites running Joomdle, and din't see any problems.
Yo know if it is Joomdle related, you can disable all Joomdle plugins, and test. If you get the same problem, it is most probably not related to Joomdle.

I tried lots of things that I found online. I eventually disabled all the Joomla menu items like one person suggested. It was one of those items. I just don't know how to troubleshoot that one menu item at this point. I posted something on their help forum but have not heard any solutions. So, no, it is not Joomdle. And yeah I have upgraded this particular site's Joomla before with no such issues until this upgrade.
