Upload users CSV file and syncronization was created by bcons
Hy!
I made some changes to our Moodle/Joomla system which inadvertantly created problems with the Joomdle upload function. Now, in fact, when I go in as the administrator and do an upload of a csv file and include the value "joomdle" under the auth column, the website completely freezes and never completes the upload. When I go to check on whether or not a user has been added to the joomla and joomdle sections of the site, only the first user in the file has been correctly uploaded; the rest simply do not appear. This means that we have had to upload users as moodle users first, then go into the joomdle area and insert them in joomdle and joomla one by one. The technician has worked on it but has not been able to figure out how to get it work. Can you please tell us exactly how joomdle/joomla/moodle have to be set up in order for the mass upload joomdle function to work?
Regards.
Joomla 3.4.8
Moodle 3.0.2+
Joomdle (joomla and moodle) 1.1.3

Hi.

What changes? Did you just make upgrades, or did you do any custom modifications?

I accidentlally cancelled the super user account and caused the site to crash. The administrator did everything in his power to reset everything, but the mass upload no longer works. I can only upload one user at a time instead of an entire csv file like I was able to before.

That seems like a Moodle problem, if you cannot upload users, right?

Mass upload works on moodle but when you change to "autth Joomdle" it only uploads the first on the list. If I do a mass upload and leave "auth" on Moodle (default), it uploads all of the users, but then I have to go to the Joomdle page and add each user to Joomla and Joomdle by hand, after which I also have to use to go to "users" in Joomla select OK. So, the problem is with JOOMDLE - specifically with mass uploads from Moodle using "auth Joomdle".

I don't know what your problem might be: I just tested uploading a file with 2 new users, both with joomdle auth, and they were created in Joomla and Moodle just fine.

That is a generic error that does not help, sorry.
Maybe if you check your web server error logs you may find something there...
