From Firefox everything OK in Chrome all KO was created by Gio61
Hello,
I installed Joomla 3.8.7 + Joomdle 1.2 + Moodle 3.4.2+ and:

from Firefox the control panel options respond immediately and the system control was fast and everything was ok. (see image)

from Chrome, both the Configuration and System Control options never end, keeping the browser busy.

It's normal?

No, no one reported anything similar before, and for me everything works fine in Chrome.
