Hi, I came across your Plugins and right now I'm trying it out, as I would like to create a website middle school tutoring. I think its great so far. If it works I'd really like to keep using it, but right now I can't get the Joomla Fields as additional data source to work.

I added some custom user fields to the joomla profiles, which work fine, when "create moodle users automatically" and "delete moodle users automatically" is disabled. But if those two are activated in the configuration after registration the input values will be empty, even if the field is mandatory and there was indeed some input. I couldn't really find something in your forum about this and the guys at official joomla forum couldn't help me either.

Does anybody know what is causing the problem? The wiki tells me to look into data mapping, which I tried as well, but neither will there be values stored for the automatically created moodle account nor for the joomla account.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and try to help me :)

Best regards,
Carl

P.S.: If this already has been covered in another thread I would also be happy if you could provide me with a link, as I was too dumb to find it, if thats actually the case...

I just did an update to Joomla 3.8.8, I don't know why, but now it's working, I was using 3.8.6 before.

Thanks for the feedback, glad to know it is working. I guess there was some problem with Joomla 3.8.6 then.
